Precise. Reliable. Powerful. Join a team as innovative as the technology we manage. Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management is seeking a Traveling Imaging Service Engineer II. This is a traveling ISE position across the United States. You will utilize your current skills in the HTM field to support Sodexo's existing onsite operations (hospitals and offsites). A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required for the role. Candidate must also live close to a major airport for convenience of travel to multiple healthcare locations. The main role / responsibilities of the position will be to ensure all related medical diagnostic imaging equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communications skills as well as strong technical skills and commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner. This role is part of the Traveler team responsible for supporting Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) operations across Sodexo. You will be expected to provide support in program implementations as well as existing programs for projects, position vacancies, etc. You will be expected to be capable of troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining a broad range of basic clinical equipment. Participates in and conducts on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements. This position has extensive travel with overnight stays required. Requirements

  • Competency troubleshooting/repairing and maintaining diagnostic imaging devices.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements of medical devices
  • Proven success developing and sustaining vendor relationships
  • Ability to manage medical device life cycle plans
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training

Nice To Haves

  • Skill set of advanced modality such as clinical laboratory, medical imaging, radiation/oncology or high-end biomedical devices
  • Medical equipment knowledge with the following is desired for this: DICOM, Siemens, Toshiba, Philips, GE Healthcare, Hologic, XRay, Ultrasound, C-Arm, Cat Scan, MRI/CT, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, Wet or Dry Processor, General RF, Clinical Asset Management, Accelerators.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair complex diagnostic imaging equipment, including but not limited to General X-Ray, Cath Lab, CT, C-Arms, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography systems (not all are required- willing to train).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools, test equipment, and software.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff and healthcare teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve equipment-related concerns.
  • Ensure all service activities are documented accurately within departmental tracking systems.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital, departmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide emergency technical support when needed.
  • Support a safe, reliable clinical environment by minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring optimal device performance.
