About The Position

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience

Nice To Haves

Previous travel nursing experience
Experience with Meditech 6.0 EMR system
Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
Critical thinking and rapid decision-making ability
Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries
Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on severity
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
Assist in trauma cases, resuscitations, and critical care interventions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Document patient care accurately using Meditech 6.0 EMR system
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards
Float to other units within scope of competency as needed
