Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a CT Tech for a travel assignment in Matthews, North Carolina. This role supports a busy CT department covering outpatient, emergency, and acute care patients across a wide range of imaging procedures. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for CT Techs who are confident working independently in a fast-paced environment and experienced with high-volume imaging across multiple patient populations. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 8-week contract • Evening shift 5x8s (13:30–22:00) • Busy outpatient + ED workflow • Auto offer facility – fast process • Occasional call rotation • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform CT imaging procedures across multiple body systems • Administer contrast and ensure patient safety • Perform IV starts and venipuncture • Conduct imaging for ED, ICU, and outpatient populations • Maintain equipment and ensure image quality • Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols • Document procedures in Epic EMR system WORK ENVIRONMENT • Acute care hospital setting • CT imaging department • Adult and pediatric patient populations • Equipment: Siemens (REQUIRED) • Scrubs: Royal Blue Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years CT Tech experience REQUIRED
- ARRT (CT) and BLS REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
- Siemens experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- Must be comfortable in ED, ICU, and acute care settings
- Experience with contrast administration REQUIRED
- First-time travelers accepted
