Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This role supports a high-volume cardiac cath lab performing interventional and diagnostic procedures including PCI, stent placement, and cardiac catheterizations. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Techs who are confident scrubbing, circulating, and assisting with complex interventional cardiology procedures in a fast-paced environment. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 12-week contract • Day shift 4x10s (07:00–17:30) • Interventional + diagnostic cath lab cases :contentReference[oaicite:0]index=0 • Call required: 1 weekend/month + 1–2 weekdays/week • Weekend requirement: every other • Floating required within facility/system • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures • Scrub and maintain sterile field during interventions • Support PCI, PTCA, and stent placement procedures • Monitor patients and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias • Assist with Impella, IABP, and temporary pacemaker procedures • Perform EKG lead placement and patient prep • Document procedures in Epic EMR system WORK ENVIRONMENT • Acute care hospital setting • Cardiac Cath Lab department • Adult and geriatric patient population • Interventional and diagnostic procedures performed daily Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience REQUIRED
- Travel experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
- ACLS, BLS, and RCIS (CCI) REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
- Must be comfortable scrubbing and circulating procedures
- Experience with PCI, PTCA, and cardiac interventions REQUIRED

- EPIC experience preferred
