Summary: We are accepting applications for Travel Technicians to work at various locations across the United States. This job is 100% travel and will consist of installing low voltage wiring and equipment such as IP cameras, Wireless Access Points, Routers, Switches, etc. Qualified candidates should expect to be on the road anywhere from 2 – 8 months at a time. We are seeking a self-starter who can work well with a partner 6 days a week. The Travel Technician will be teamed up with a partner who will travel and work with them for the duration of the project. Responsibilities: • Pull and terminate low voltage cable. • Installing network equipment within commercial settings. • Follow instructions and code when pulling cable. • Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work. • Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations. • Installing of cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and inner duct. • Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational. • Troubleshoot issues with the cable network. • Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign. • Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by the client, their customers, or OSHA. • Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.
