About The Position

The Travel Analyst Supervisor assists in the oversight of all aspects of the Command Center. The Travel Analyst Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Travel Analysts assigned to different schedules. This position is responsible for ensuring established workflows, policies, procedures and protocols, and fiscal accountability are performed and enforced in Command Center. The Travel Analyst Supervisor is responsible for verifying and confirming all scheduled trips and reports are executed accurately and in a timely manner, confirming information entered in MVM’s proprietary transport system in correct and ensuring all stakeholders are notified of scheduled transports.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (an associate’s degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or more than 4 years of related experience may be substituted for a degree) and,
  • Have at least two years of documented experience in a field related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area; and (a minimum of four years of experience is required when an associate’s degree with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for a bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience in a related field when four years of experience is substituted for a degree).
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this requirement and appropriate for a similar program environment.
  • 1 or more year’s experience supervising employees in a 911 dispatch, command center, call center, or similar program environment.
  • Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Requires effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with different departments within the company, employees and with clients.
  • Ability to take technical direction and feedback from various sources.

  • Requires the ability to prioritize work, meet stringent deadlines, balance multiple tasks and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce company’s and client’s policies and procedures and ensures that changes in policies and/or procedures are communicated to the team.
  • Enforce program changes as specified by the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager and Command Center Managers and disseminate guidance to personnel.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with contract and company policies, procedures, and guidance, with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintains a consistent level of communication with field managers and staff, the Customer, subcontractor, and stakeholders.
  • Receive and review travel requests for accuracy to coordinate travel; organizes and oversees workflow to ensure all processes are implemented and followed.
  • Must be able to respond to multiple travel requests in a timely manner to ensure contract compliance.
  • Responsible for creating ground transportation routes and maximizing air travel to accommodate transportation requests.
  • Must keep constant communication with both management and client, if applicable, to provide updates and elevate issues accordingly.
  • Must review all command center emails and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Works with Deputy Program Manager and Command Center Managers to ensure requests meet all required contract standards and policies.
  • Responsible for assigning available staff on trips, ensuring we are maximizing staff and managing overtime.
  • Responsible for reviewing staff utilization report to ensure all staff are assigned on trips and elevating issues to Deputy Program Manager and Command Center Managers.
  • Remain aware of travel-related information that may cause delays or prevent flight connections from occurring and communicate this information to employees in route and site management.
  • Coordinate with team to adjust and close case work orders daily.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously; prepare and submit required reports as needed, while managing, verifying and updating information in the company database system.
  • Ensure that the program is in compliance with quality control standards, training and contractual requirements.
  • Review and verifies daily reports; reconciles inventory and reports in accordance with work orders.
  • Create monthly work schedules and submits to management for approval.
  • Monitors time and attendance and the team’s work output to ensure technical performance and productivity.
  • Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance to the team; coaches team members to ensure each member can make sound decisions pertaining to travel coordination.
  • Identify inappropriate employee behavior and/or performance issues in collaboration with Command Center Managers and address through corrective and/or disciplinary action.
  • Assist with employee training and collaborates with the Training Department to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Provide and assists Command Center Manager in conducting orientations, on-the-job trainings, and evaluations for Travel Analysts to ensure all direct reports are trained and onboarded according to company requirements.
  • Based on operational needs, this position may be required to work in the capacity of a Travel Analyst.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
