About The Position

Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a full time or part time trauma surgeon board certified or board eligible in surgical trauma for a Level II trauma hospital. 2025 Registry Volume 2100, Trauma Admissions 900, Blunt 90%, Penetrating 10%. Avg. 2 trauma alerts per day

Requirements

• Board certified in general surgery and board certified/board eligible in surgical trauma
• New Graduates welcome to apply
• Eligible for License to practice in the state of Texas
• ATLS certified required
• Full Time 15 shifts per month primary in-house coverage, (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
• Part Time 5-10 shifts per month primary in-house coverage, (7A-7P or 7P-7A)
• APP support provided
