About The Position

Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is seeking a highly skilled Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon to join our dynamic surgical team in Carmichael, California. As a full-time surgeon, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional trauma and acute care services within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Medical degree with completion of an accredited General Surgery residency.
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.
  • Board certification in General Surgery.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in California.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a broad range of trauma surgeries, including emergency procedures for complex injuries.
  • Deliver acute surgical interventions for urgent and emergent conditions.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in education of medical students, residents, and staff while staying current on advancements in trauma and acute care surgery.
