Trauma Surgeon - Full time opportunity
About The Position
The Department of Surgery at Stamford Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible General Surgeon with fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care to join our growing Trauma Division. This is a 50/50 split between Trauma Surgery and General Surgery, with opportunities to teach surgery residents and medical students. Join a collegial team of 5 surgeons (3 trauma, 2 general) in a Level II Trauma Center with over 800 trauma admissions annually. Requirements
- MD/DO or foreign equivalent
- BC/BE in Neurology
- Fellowship in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology (Epilepsy track)
- Proficiency in EEG and inpatient critical care video monitoring
- Eligible for Connecticut medical license
