The only thing missing is you! Responsible for coordination and facilitation of Trauma Performance Improvement. Trauma Performance Improvement includes all areas of disciplines of the hospital that participate in care of the trauma patient. Provides coordination and facilitation of performance improvement data collection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking of data outcomes. Uses Trauma Registry data (state, regional and local) as well as Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) benchmark reports to drive PI projects. Oversees all data and quality initiatives with staff. Responsible for presenting Process Improvement reports, initiatives and data at the multi-disciplinary trauma committee meetings as well as hospital quality committee meetings. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Current state registered nurse license required with minimum of 5 years clinical nursing experience
  • BLS, ACLS, TNCC required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities
