Nemours is seeking a casual Quality Improvement Specialist! The Quality Improvement Specialist collaborates with the Quality Improvement leaders and key stakeholders across the Enterprise, to provide support for multidisciplinary teams working on quality improvement initiatives. These teams are leading a variety of quality improvement and safety initiatives with a targeted focus on achieving results that improve key care processes and clinical quality outcomes. The position serves to support the facilitation including planning, implementation, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams and their work related to clinical quality improvement as well as the sustainment of these improvements. To achieve the targeted results, this position will support implementation of projects that were placed on hold due to staffing limitations. This position will mentor the new QIS who is hired in order to support ultimate transition of these projects. The Quality Improvement Specialist will have familiarity using Quality Improvement methodologies, SPS tools, and other techniques that are applied to achieve targeted and sustainable outcome improvements.
