About The Position

At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy, the focus is patient-centered care within a level I trauma center and academic medical center campus designed to heal the body, mind, and spirit. The facility offers a full range of medical services including trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging. As a National Resident RN, you will participate in a dynamic and supportive residency, receiving personalized attention for long-term success and cross-training across interconnected Nursing units. The role involves delivering individualized patient care through collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, administering treatments, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and families, while embracing various nursing tasks. Success in this role requires active engagement in a comprehensive, evidence-based Residency Program, utilizing clinical orientation, practice, and mentorship, along with a passion for learning and teamwork in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

  • Associates Of Science Nursing
  • 0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: NE, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 5 - months
