Requirements

  • Current PA state Medical License or ability to obtain a PA state Medical License

Responsibilities

  • Inpatient care for trauma and acute care surgery patients
  • First assistant in operating room approximately once a week
  • Intensive Care management of critically ill patients
  • Formal evaluation of the acute trauma patient
  • Outpatient clinic with General Surgery
  • Rotating schedule, 10-hour shift days and 15-hour shift nights (6 nights a month)
  • Call 1:5
