About The Position

Responsible to supervisor and lead Responsible for setting up trash disposal throughout plant including correct handling of inedible products in regard to USDA requirements. Required to take trash from production lines and properly process through the trash bailer and/or compactor. Must be able to work in cold/wet areas Will be required to take trash outside and dump in the open top dumpster on occasions Must be responsible in keeping work area clean Other Duties as assigned by Management PHYSICAL – Strong, must be able to lift up to 70 to 80 pounds intermittently. Must be able to bend, lift, stand and walk for 100% of production hours. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation EDUCATION – None required RATE OF WORK – Moderately fast QUALITY OF WORK – Must be neat with work. ENVIRONMENT – Must be able to work around breader dust and in a temperature of 50 degrees F or less in the plant. Will be required to work outside on occasion in various temperatures according to the seasons.
