About The Position

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Nonrotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed. Responsible for data entry and updating records as well as record retention of all types of division. Process payments, create invoices, make deposits for different types of transactions process in this division. Be knowledgeable in the different arears of this division including, but not limited to restaurants, mobile food units, swimming pools, sceptics, food handler classes and permits, food manager permits, temporary events, supervised care centers, ect. Collect and compile relevant data supporting the formulation of department policy and procedures Assist in the development of new programs element and program modification as necessary to meet goal and objectives Monitor and coordinate the daily operation of assigned projects or program area Perform administrative detail work and maintain appropriate records and statistics Provide administrative staff assistance including conducting analyses of a wide range of department actives Conduct surveys and perform moderately complex research and statistical analyses as requested Compile material and assist in the preparation of reports manuals and publication Assist in coordinating marketing and public relation program Answer call throughout the day to answer questions and concerns from public May assist with budget preparation and research past expenditures and forecast department or program revenues and expenses Compose letters, memoranda, spreadsheets and presentations as assigned Process all types of division-issued permits; food service establishment, septic, mobile food units, swimming pool, supervised care centers, etc. Provide support by creating and maintaining inventory records for and/or ordering office supplies and equipment Respond to complaints and inquiries, while investigating and resolve complaints in a timely manner. As well as logging complaint and assign to appropriate inspector Conduct annual mobile food truck inspections May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of six (6) months to one year of relevant experience.
  • Must obtain all required ICS Training Certificates within one (1) year of hire.
  • Will Complete and obtain DPS Credentials to process background checks on Mobile Food Vendor within 30 days of hire
  • A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.
