About The Position

continuously monitoring the delivery status of inbound loads, identifying those in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date providing timely and accurate communication regarding inbound purchase orders in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date to allow for the development of effective mitigation strategies maximizing on-time deliveries into Publix facilities by initiating contact with warehouse receiving departments, suppliers, and manufacturing plants tracking seasonal items, highly sensitive items, and expedited transfers monitoring delays at shipping and receiving locations to minimize cost to Publix and ensure carriers are compensated for the time delayed The responsibilities listed on this posting are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• have one year experience working in Distribution, Transportation or an analytical field
• be able to work flexible hours and be available on weekends
• be able to work extended periods of time
• be able to successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills Tests (before his or her start date in the position)

• have an associate’s degree in Business, Transportation or a related field or equivalent experience and have three years’ clerical experience working in Transportation
