This position will be responsible for supervising designated drivers. The role involves ensuring all required driver training is completed, determining additional training needs, and facilitating training activities for both new and existing staff. The supervisor will conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company policies, rules, regulations, and expectations. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily work assignments, ensuring resources are available for excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with DOT rules and regulations. The role also involves working with Territory Supervisors or Account Executives to resolve service-related issues, managing driver scheduling and backup, coordinating equipment repairs, and ensuring safety and compliance within the designated geographical area. The supervisor will assist in accident investigations, maintain performance reports, advise management on performance issues, and provide daily coaching and counseling to employees. Continuous process improvement and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders are also essential.
