About The Position

The Transportation Supervisor at Immanuel Pathways PACE® in Council Bluffs, IA, is responsible for overseeing the entire transportation program. This includes the transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy items, and any other necessary transportation. The role involves hiring and training transportation staff, as well as managing the procurement of vehicles and ensuring their repairs and preventative maintenance. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the transportation industry required.
  • Two (2) years of administrative/supervisory experience in a transportation setting is required.
  • One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License in the respective state in which he/she is employed.
  • Must have a current CDL license or ability to obtain one within six (6) months from date of hire.
  • Must have an acceptable record from the respective state’s Motor Vehicle Department in which the individual’s license was issued.

  • Responsible for the Immanuel Pathways transportation program, including transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other transportation as deemed necessary.
  • Hires and trains staff in the transportation department.
  • Oversees procurement of vehicle and repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles.
