Duties Compiles and updates Bus Lists (regular bus routes, special education routes, shuttle bus routes/run) Coordinates the maintenance for all school vehicles. Coordinates procedures to meet all requirements for bus State inspections. Coordinates all field trips and extra-curricular trip activities (vehicles, drivers, etc.). Coordinate bus routes and trips with transportation director. Shares responsibility for maintaining good interpersonal relations between parents, students, drivers and school. Checks and monitors road conditions when inclement weather situations exist. Compiles End of Year Transportation Reports. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities related to school transportation as administration may request and/or from time to time assign. Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate. Bus Driver Permit Certification of good health and drug testing signed by a licensed physician yearly. Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports. Demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Salary/Benefits Based off work experience.
