About The Position

A professional and detail-oriented Transportation Specialist to support our agent and wholesale partners within the transportation business. This role is part of the initial placement efforts that are aimed at enhancing the agent/wholesaler experience through a centralized, solution-focused service model. The Transportation Specialist will act as a key liaison between our agents and internal processes—ensuring smooth submission workflows, clear communication, and a high level of service consistency. This position offers the opportunity to grow within the transportation insurance space, with comprehensive training and mentorship provided. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and customer centric mindset individual that will focus on enhancing the agent/wholesaler. This role will require an individual that is organized, a problem solver with multi-tasking capabilities. It will require an individual that is open-minded to change and flexible and be responsible for providing streamlined solutions, ensuring high-quality customer service, and integrating necessary technology to optimize operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to Travel
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Transportation Management, or a related field; P&C licensed preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the transportation sector with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proven track record in a team environment, ideally within the insurance industry with knowledge of agent needs
  • Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Initial Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison for agents and wholesalers, ensuring efficient access to transportation solutions.
  • Work as a team player to streamline processes and facilitate communication to enhance partner satisfaction.
  • Teamwork: Be open to offer suggestions/ideas for process improvements as the Concierge is in its development stages
  • Promote a collaborative environment that fosters professional growth and development for themselves and for team members
  • Solution Delivery: Design innovative solutions tailored to agent needs, targeting a near 100% solution rate.
  • Oversee the delivery of solutions across three categories: Program & Specialty, Contract Binding, and Wholesale.
  • Assist in creating a feedback loop for agents/wholesalers to share insights, driving improvements in processes and solutions.
  • Technology: Understand Zendesk, Surefyre, HubSpot and other systems that are introduced to the Concierge
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor inquiries, track solution effectiveness, and enhance agent satisfaction.
