About The Position

This position is responsible for serving as the primary administrative support for a major client's operations, focusing on ensuring smooth transportation logistics for flights. The role involves analyzing data from custom computer screens, preparing driver run sheets for each flight, assigning drivers to gates and flights, and serving as a quality assurance specialist to ensure meal contents meet customer specifications. Key duties also include monitoring driver departure times, tracking flight and meal order changes, and acting as a backup supervisor by relaying changes to drivers, directing workflow, and resolving customer problems. The specialist will also verify the accuracy of driver run sheets and handle customer calls, concerns, and complaints. Requirements

  • H.S. diploma required
  • 2+ years of general work experience in an office or warehouse facility
  • 1 year of experience directing the work of others
  • Able to drive on the ramp (must be 21+ driver’s license)
  • Able to multi-task in a hectic environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to keep calm in high pressure environment
  • Able to work with a minimum of supervision/off-site environment
  • Able to make independent decisions
  • Able to compile data from multiple sources with a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to communicate status changes to all parties in a timely manner
  • Driven to document and improve processes
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Able to develop rapport with major client

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from custom computer screens and prepare driver run sheets for each flight
  • Assign Drivers to gates and flights
  • Serve as the quality assurance specialist, ensuring that contents of coolers and or meals meet customer specifications
  • Monitor driver’s kitchen departure time
  • Track all flight, gate, meal order and other changes in flights
  • Serve as back up supervisor when that individual is on the ramp by relaying changes in flights to drivers on the ramp, directing work flow and resolving customer problems
  • Check that drivers have completed their run sheets accurately and that all times, aircraft changes, service levels and quantities meet customer specifications
  • Answer and log customer calls, concerns and complaints and make recommendations to resolve on-going issues
