About The Position

Position Summary: Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking enthusiastic and customer service driven candidates to fulfill guest service rolls as a Villa Transportation Driver. The Villa Transportation Driver acts as an ambassador for Kiawah Island Golf Resort and the 5 star/5 diamond Sanctuary Hotel. This position requires all drivers to be able to anticipate guests’ needs, acknowledge all guest requests and be willing to consistently exceed all guest expectations. Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process. Qualifications: Valid CDL driver license – Endorsement P Comfortable driving vehicles ranging from a 10-14 passenger Sprinter van Able to effectively and efficiently communicate over a 2-way radio Must work both independently and in a team environment. Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written. Must be able to pass a background check. Expectations & Responsibilities: Graciously welcomes guest to Kiawah Island, and wishes them safe travels upon departure Transporting Kiawah Resort guests while proving excellent guest service to the following locations: The Sanctuary Hotel, any of our 5 championship golf courses, a tennis center, multiple resort pools, restaurants, etc.Carefully carries baggage to and from guest villas and homes while also helping acclimate guests with their accommodations as needed. Preforms deliveries of amenities, golf bags, luggage, and other items when needed. Inspects van before each shift for any safety concerns, as well as cleanliness inside and out. Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort. All other duties as assigned. Essential Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds across short-medium distance. Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements. Requirements
