Transportation Shift Manager
About The Position
Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager, the incumbent, either personally or through subordinates, supervises the Transportation operation. Must perform normal job functions while making clear and decisive decisions during heavy business demands. Must possess ability to comprehend and write correspondence and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must possess proven leadership skills to lead and train subordinate personnel. Must be able to learn the operation of all parking equipment such as slim jim kit, jumper cables, 2-way radios, air tanks and other related equipment. Position requires prolonged periods of standing or walking. Must possess computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) to three (3) years of related and/or supervisory experience
- Ability to comprehend and write correspondence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to operate automatic and standard shift vehicle
- Must be able to learn the operation of all parking equipment such as slim jim kit, jumper cables, 2-way radios, air tanks and other related equipment
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Must possess computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
