VHB's Orlando, FL office is looking for a Project Development Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2026. We are VHB! Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's degree in civil engineering, planning, geography or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic with the desire to learn and achieve
  • Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • MicroStation experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review and summarize planning documents and studies
  • Prepare, edit, and review technical reports
  • Use and review GIS transportation data.
  • Develop and update CAD drawings
  • Create text and spreadsheet documents and manipulate data.
  • Participate in public engagement and outreach efforts
  • Occasional field data collection
  • Effectively interact with VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner.
