Work You'll Do As a Project Delivery Senior Analyst on the project, you will: Prepare read-ahead materials, talking points, and leadership communications; compile weekly activity reports. Manage records, contact/distribution lists, and strategic plans; support congressional reporting, legislative review, audits, and maintain website/social media presence. Maintain and update internal policies and issuances; analyze and draft proposed changes; conduct policy research; manage development and report status monthly. Develop and maintain enterprise architecture and end-to-end process maps; ensure process compliance; review and update documentation regularly. Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations; manage tasks in tracking systems; create project plans and timelines. Support audits, maintain SharePoint/MS Teams, support committees, and conduct research and analysis. Analyze and draft internal and external policy updates; ensure compliance with laws; implement approved changes and align with process mapping. Provide policy, governance, and program support for supply functions; recommend improvements and monitor key programs. Support procurement, policy, and metrics for transportation; recommend improvements and manage special requests. Develop policy and doctrine for operational contract support (OCS), vendor threat management (VTM), and private security contractors (PSC); support stakeholder engagement and governance. Conduct surge efforts and special studies; produce briefings and reports; coordinate with subject matter experts and resources. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years experience or Master's Degree and 3+ years experience
  • Must be willing to go on-site in Alexandria up to 5 days a week
  • Secret Clearance Required
  • 3+ years experience with transportation policies, directives, and regulations, including the Defense Transportation Regulation to include: MARAD, MSC and SDDC operations VISA, VTA, TSP, and MSP
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years experience of Deep Sealift operations including: Charter, Commercial, and organic sealift requirements
  • Experience with the Jones Act and cargo preference as it relates to sealift requirements
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate initiatives, identify gaps, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Ability to develop and deliver reports, metrics, and recommendations that support decision-making at senior levels.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to engage with federal, interagency, and industry stakeholders.
