About The Position

As a Transportation Planner at the City of Richland, you’ll help design a safer, more connected community by leading transportation planning efforts that support growth, mobility, and accessibility. From developing plans and analyzing traffic systems to coordinating projects and securing funding, your work will have a direct impact on how people move throughout the City. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in transportation planning, transportation/traffic engineering, or related field that provides the advanced knowledge customarily required for professional transportation planning.
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in transportation planning and/or transportation engineering.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Professional experience with developing transportation improvement plans.
  • Experience with development of concurrency review.
