About The Position

reviewing and analyzing bills of lading with identified receiving discrepancies (over, short, damage, refusals and/or wrong goods) for claim liability and making sound business decisions to mitigate or prevent loss for reviewing and reconciling transportation exception invoices for invoices not paid through our auto pay system to ensure payment accuracy reviewing and approving less-than-truckload freight invoices effectively working with internal/external customers and suppliers to ensure accurate payment for transportation services and providing appropriate documentation to support financial recovery when appropriate. Requirements

  • have one year experience working in Distribution, Transportation, or an analytical field
  • be able to work flexible schedules
  • be able to successfully complete battery of Clerical & Microsoft Skills Tests (before his or her start date in the position)

  • be able to apply learned Transportation guidelines with a high level of accuracy
  • be able to comprehend Publix warehouse Operations and Procurement practices
  • be able to perform varying Transportation functions outside your normal job responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • current Lakeland Distribution associate
  • have an associate's degree in Business, Transportation or a related field or equivalent experience
  • have three years' experience working in Transportation
  • have Certified Claims Professional Certification (CCPAC)
