About The Position

Matheny Medical and Educational Center has a career opportunity available for a Full Time Transportation Manager. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-4pm with on-call responsibilities. Duties of this position include: Safety & Risk Management: Develop, implement, and enforce transportation safety policies. Ensure proper wheelchair securement and passenger restraint use. Conduct safety audits, ride-alongs, and inspections. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain DOT, FMCSA, and ADA compliance. Manage driver qualification files. Ensure drug & alcohol testing and hours-of-service compliance. Coordinate audits and inspections. Driver Supervision & Training: Recruit, train, and supervise drivers. Provide training on defensive driving, securement, and emergency procedures. Conduct performance evaluations. Fleet Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections. Ensure vehicles are equipped with safety and securement equipment. Manage preventative maintenance schedules. Operations & Scheduling: Coordinate routes and schedules. Monitor efficiency while maintaining safety. Collaborate with program and administrative staff. Enriching Lives.
