This position serves as project manager, managing all aspects of analyses, design and preparation of construction plans, estimates, specifications, engineering studies and reports for complex Regional Transportation Plan freeway projects; facilitates the review of these products with the various technical areas and project stakeholders. Arranges, conducts and represents the project team in various meetings including Public Information Meetings and Public Hearings. Prepares the scope of work for final design services; serves as team leader for the consultant selection process; negotiates the consultant contract; approves the design schedule in cooperation with the project consultant invoices for payment. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
