About The Position
The Transportation Engineer 1 (TE1) will be hired into the Capital Programs division in Cuyahoga County. This role involves completing ODOT’s Transportation Civil Engineering Program, which includes a 12-month training plan and scheduled rotations through the department’s core engineering disciplines: Planning & Engineering, Construction, and Highway Maintenance. The position offers a thorough introduction to these civil engineering disciplines, opportunities to work alongside ODOT professional engineers, and hands-on transportation training and experience essential for career advancement as an engineer with ODOT.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Accepted for Basic Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (EIT exam) by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors
- Civil Engineering skills
Responsibilities
