One (1) year experience in the Medical Field One (1) year experience in Central Supply Must have a CNA license Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to schedule and dispatch appropriate transportation to the age-related needs of the residents served. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the knowledge and ability to understand budgetory requirements and maintain appropriate PAR levels related to resident supplies Job requires minor lifting, walking, and bending.

Requirements

  • One (1) year experience operating a Company vehicle.
  • One (1) year experience in the Medical Field
  • One (1) year experience in Central Supply
  • Must have a CNA license
  • Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to schedule and dispatch appropriate transportation to the age-related needs of the residents served.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the knowledge and ability to understand budgetory requirements and maintain appropriate PAR levels related to resident supplies
  • Job requires minor lifting, walking, and bending.

Responsibilities

  • Transport residents to medical appointments and recreational activities according to established schedules and allotted times.
  • Assist residents entering and exiting the f acility’s vehicle.
  • Drive f acility’s vehicle to events and activities outside the f acility, as necessary.
  • Coordinate with f acility medical and nursing personnel regarding transporting residents to scheduled medical appointments.
  • Coordinate with Activities Director and Activities Assistant regarding transporting residents to scheduled activities.
  • Ensure that emergency equipment ( i.e., triangles, fire extinguisher, and first-aid kit) is available and in good working condition.
  • Recommend to your s upervisor the equipment and supply needs for the Facility’s vehicle.
  • Assist in the moving and arranging of equipment and supplies to assure that the Facility’s vehicle is ready for scheduled appointments and activities.
  • Maintain an incident and accident-free driving record.
