About The Position

Crawford County Human Services is seeking a reliable and organized individual to fill this part-time Transportation Dispatcher position. With our team, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation services, scheduling drivers, overseeing the auto fleet, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations that make it possible for our teams to provide essential service to children and their families. This includes scheduling and assigning drivers and vehicles efficiently, monitoring ongoing transportation operations, and addressing any issues promptly. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of trips, schedules, and vehicle maintenance, as well as ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies. Effective communication with drivers and agency employees is key for success in this role. Requirements

  • Six (6) months as a Meal Transporter/Van Drive in a human service program; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • You must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license. No suspension of driver's license within the last three years.
  • You must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
  • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
