About The Position
To transport residents to and from medically related appointments and to assist residents with those transfers, as needed. ACCOUNTABILITY: Administrator Director of Nursing
Requirements
- Must have a current valid drivers license
Responsibilities
- To transfer residents to medically related appointments as needed.
- To assist residents as needed with transfers in and out of the vehicle and at the appointment.
- Attend facility meetings as required
- Attend facility in-services.
- Understand and follow fire, safety, sanitation, blood-borne pathogen rules and Hazard Communication program.
- Prevent abuse, neglect and exploitation in the elderly.
- Promote a safe, clean environment in which the residents may live.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Administrator.
- Become a participating facility team member with the residents as first priority.
