About The Position

The Transportation Coordinator position at Vivera Senior Living of Jeffersonville involves assisting residents with their transportation needs, including helping them on and off the activity bus using a vehicle lift, and accompanying them to and from appointments. Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of the bus, completing necessary upkeep forms, managing and coordinating multiple transportation requests efficiently, and organizing routes for maximum efficiency. The role requires maintaining a calm and professional demeanor while driving the Activity Bus to support team performance and productivity.

Requirements

High School graduate or GED equivalent required
Must hold valid driver’s license
Intermediate computer skills required
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Nice To Haves

Minimum age of 21 years or older preferred with driving record in good standing
Prior experience in driving an Activity bus for the senior population is preferred

Responsibilities

Assist residents on and off the bus, using the vehicle lift, when necessary
Walk residents into their appointment, picks them up from their appointments.
Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior of the bus
Completes any forms necessary for upkeep of bus
Responsible for taking transportation requests and keeping track of all appointments
Ability to coordinate multiple transportation requests in one day and accommodate all requests in a reasonable manner
Ability to organize and coordinate directions to maintain the most efficient route
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when driving the Activity Bus, which supports team performance and productivity
