About The Position

Are you a Transportation Coordinator looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to work at Pathways Central Iowa located at 7700 Hickman Road, Windsor Heights, IA 50324. The schedule or this position is Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with no Weekends or Holidays. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.
Must be 21 years of age.
Valid Driver’s license is required.
In Iowa, Chauffer's license will be required prior to hire.
Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Hiring is contingent on successfully passing a DOT Medial Exam and obtaining DOT Medial Examiner’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

Perform transportation and paratransit scheduling, routing, and dispatching duties
Operates a variety of communication equipment, including telephone, computer, mobile dispatch terminal and scheduling systems with Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL)
Responsible for creating, maintaining and monitoring computerized driver manifests/schedules
Responds to requests for service and provides a variety of information to Immanuel staff, participants and residents
