About The Position

Legacy Supply Chain is seeking a Transportation Coordinator for their fleet of drivers in Crandall, GA. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, proficiency in navigating multiple system programs, and excellent communication skills. A high level of customer service and the ability to ensure drivers adhere to their hours of service are crucial aspects of this role. Requirements

  • Minimum two years of related work experience
  • Minimum one year of related transportation experience
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Knowledge of Fleet Operations
  • Self-Reliant and able to make decisions through resourcefulness, creativity, and expertise
  • Able to communicate professionally throughout all levels of the organization
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Basic Skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics functions a plus

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch drivers using dispatch software
  • Update software with trailer numbers
  • Enter data for Customer detention
  • Make appointments for customer deliveries
  • Contact customers for delivery changes as needed
  • Update dispatch spreadsheets and daily driver packet information
  • Plan driver routes based on DOT hours of service
  • Meet the needs of our customers by providing on-time delivery expectations to drivers
  • General administrative duties; such as answering phones, data entry, etc.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
