About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: • Handles claims, including Auto Physical Damage (APD) and Cargo claims, from start to finish. • Manages a diverse caseload from across the U.S, ensuring timely and effective settlements while maintaining high professional standards. • Caseload: 100-120 claims, • Handle claims related to commercial auto incidents, including physical damage and liability claims. • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims efficiently. • • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. • Maintain detailed documentation for each claim. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful claim outcomes. • Other duties may be assigned Qualifications: • High school Diploma or equivalent is required • 5+ years in Heavy Commercial Auto claims handling or a similar role. • Experience with APD and Cargo claims is a huge plus, a mix of both carrier and TPA experience is acceptable, however carrier experience is highly preferred. • Must hold an active adjuster license, multi-jurisdictional a plus. • Strong understanding of commercial auto/trucking insurance principles. • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work are required. • Analytical thinking skills are needed to properly evaluate complex claims • A strong attention to detail is necessary as claims adjusters must carefully review documents and policies • Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills are required, experience with negotiations, knowledge of litigation process is preferred but not required. • Basic computer skills or the ability to quickly learn new software are required • A strong work ethic and time management skills are needed • Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with clients and claimants is needed. • Ability to calculate figures is required Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
