About The Position

This position operates within the Transportation Section of Environmental Management Service at the Lee County Healthcare Center. The major areas of responsibility and authority are scheduling, data collection, tracking and program support responsibilities (i.e.; transportation workload forecasting, scheduling design, procedure development, etc.). The selectee is supervised by and collaborates with the Environment of Care Specialist Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Daily responsibilities include manifest scheduling, collecting, compiling, and tracking data and statistical information in support transportation.
  • Performs a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
  • Reserving and receiving motor pool vehicles to include vehicle check sheets with customer.
  • Evaluate documents and other data collection forms.
  • Aggregates incoming data from a variety of sources.
  • Reviews documents, reports, and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies, and ensures data entry is complete and accurate schedules maintenance of all vehicles assigned to Station.
  • Enters pertinent information into an automated tracking system.
  • Maintains automated system of program-specific data to track items such as service project milestones, progress reports, program trends, performance measures, compliance strategies, etc.
  • Document and review the vehicle's condition, including any existing damage, cleanliness, mileage, and mechanical concerns.
  • Transport vehicles to designated location as applicable.
