About The Position

GFT is seeking an Transportation Analyst to join our Transportation Team in Tampa, FL! This role follows a hybrid work schedule, with regular attendance to our Tampa location. Working on the roadway team at GFT offers the opportunity to engage in transformative projects that enhance transportation infrastructure and improve community connectivity. What you’ll be challenged to do: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated entry-level operations professional to support day-to-day business operations. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career candidate interested in logistics, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with team members across departments to help improve workflows, track performance, and support operational efficiency. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Analytics, or related field
  • Internship or early experience in operations, analytics, logistics, or customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of activities
  • Assist in analyzing data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Help implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to support operational goals
  • Monitor quality, accuracy, and productivity across assigned processes
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries using tools like Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve workflows and performance
