About The Position

Amazon’s Transportation Execution & Systems Team is seeking a Transportation Analyst to join a team that identifies, creates, develops and integrates innovative solutions that lead to improvements in our North American transportation network. Amazon transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver worldwide shipments to and from our fulfillment centers and third party locations. The Transportation Analyst will be responsible to design, develop, and improve our transportation systems. As a Transportation Analyst, you'll dive into the systems that keep Amazon's transportation network running smoothly. Your day might include analyzing transportation data to uncover inefficiencies, building reports that help site operators make better decisions, or designing new metrics that track the health of our logistics processes. You'll collaborate with leadership and operations teams across multiple locations, translating complex data into clear insights that drive real improvements. One moment you're retrieving data from various sources to give visibility into upcoming changes, the next you're documenting processes to help your teammates understand how systems work. Your work directly influences how we optimize routes, reduce costs, and deliver packages more effectively. We are a collaborative team focused on identifying and developing innovative solutions that strengthen Amazon's transportation operations. Our vision is to build systems that are not only efficient today but scalable for tomorrow's growth. We serve internal stakeholders ranging from site-level operators to senior leadership, and we're committed to supporting their decision-making with reliable data and actionable insights. You'll work alongside analysts, engineers, and operations leaders who are passionate about continuous improvement and solving real-world logistics challenges. Joining us means being part of a group that values clear communication, analytical rigor, and the impact that thoughtful systems design can have on a global operation.
