Qualified candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A license with Tanker and HazMat endorsements, have at least one year of driving experience, and be able to obtain a TWIC card within 60 days of hire. This position may require working nights, weekends, holidays, and being available for emergency response situations.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license required
Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to obtain a TWIC card within 60 days
Ability to obtain HazMat certification within 30 days

Nice To Haves

Experience hauling fuel or heavy loads is a plus

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety at all times by adhering to company policies and procedures
Position trucks and trailers for loading/unloading, coordinating with ground crews
Review and confirm delivery details, routes, and instructions
Operate heavy-duty trucks (over 3 tons), including tractor-trailers, to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials such as fuel, oil, and equipment
Maintain accurate logs in compliance with federal and state regulations
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure all equipment is in safe working condition
Adjust routes as needed using GPS or navigation tools to improve efficiency
Report any incidents, violations, or equipment issues promptly
Secure loads properly using appropriate tools and methods
Obtain necessary documentation such as signatures, receipts, or payments when required
Perform basic maintenance tasks (fluids, minor repairs, etc.)
Inspect cargo before and after transport to ensure integrity
Complete additional duties as assigned
