Responsible for providing quality assessment, therapeutic interventions, and clinical expertise to the neonatal/pediatric/adult population in the transport environment. In conjunction with the Transport Nurse Clinician, acts as a resource hospital wide for patient care standards and pre-code recognition. Patient care is provided in accordance with established policy and procedures, medical protocols, and/or direct on-line consultation with the appropriate medical control physician within the transport environment (ambulance, helicopter, fixed wing).
