About The Position

Role: Transport Mission Architect Client: Defense-Aerospace Hourly Rate: up to $73/hr W2, non-benefited Length: Long-term Location: Scottsdale, AZ Clearance: Active and transferable TS/SCI DOD issued security clearance is required prior to start date We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Ground system design or scheduling knowledge Ground network designs for DoD missions such as Link-16, IBS, SatCom Tracking mission design knowledge Satellite communications knowledge Ground to Satellite communication knowledge System/Software design for cloud-based microservice architecture Preferred Technical Background: Systems Engineering: Proficiency in systems engineering, decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, design behavior with emphasis on: Ground pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads Experience with ground mission data transport, handling, and analysis Software/Systems engineering: Experience decomposing the high-level space-ground systems design into ground software/systems design. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as, CAMEO or MagicDraw. Programming and Tools Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling. Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment. Simulation and Modeling: Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications a plus Required Education and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. Requirements
