About The Position

NAT-SU Healthcare is seeking a Transport Driver to join our team. Transport driver is a support staff position tasked with transporting clients and/or Tribal Members to and from medical and case management appointments.  Transport Drivers conduct themselves in a professional manner, adhere to all traffic laws, and always ensure client safety.  Transport Drivers coordinate with the Transport Lead and follow through on all assigned commitments and tasks.

Requirements

• Driving experience (5 years preferred)
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Familiar with treatment and/or recovery process
• Knowledgeable in basic vehicle maintenance needs (fluid change reminders, wiper blades, lights, etc.)
• Valid and current Driver's License
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) minor discrepancies negotiable
• Good self and time management – able to follow through on driving schedule within time frame, or being able to communicate if help is needed.
• Able to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
• Able to set and maintain healthy boundaries with clients.

Responsibilities

• Transportation of clients and/or Tribal Members to appointments
• Daily inspection of vehicles for maintenance, safety, and upkeep needs
• Coordinates with Transport Lead for scheduled transports daily
• Communicates needs for any vehicle maintenance.
• Always conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner
• Logs miles driven and odometer readings with each trip.
