About The Position

Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable, compassionate Transport Driver to safely transport adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to and from our day program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible part-time hours and wants to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Requirements

• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations or recent accidents).
• Minimum age of 25 years.
• Ability to confidently operate a 15-passenger van.
• Basic smartphone skills (email, navigation, internet use).
• Willingness to complete CPR, NCI, and agency-required trainings (provided).
• Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport program participants to and from their homes and our day program in a 15-passenger van.
• Assist participants with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment during transportation.
• Follow all traffic laws and agency safety procedures.
• Maintain punctuality and clear communication with program staff.
