About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our team at Health Care Alliance North America. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of our clients to and from substance abuse treatment facilities. The driver will be responsible for picking up clients and transporting them to, as well as moving clients between different healthcare facilities, as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, a clean driving record, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age, minimum.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in transportation or healthcare-related services preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges when necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with clients.
• Flexibility to work on-call hours as needed.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from our facilities, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Provide door-to-door service, assisting clients in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Transport clients between facilities or destinations, ensuring their comfort and safety during travel.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean and safe condition, performing routine checks and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies while driving.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, client information, and mileage.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs or concerns with professionalism and care.
• Assist with loading/unloading personal items as necessary.
