About The Position

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology, is seeking a transplant nephrologist . Duties will include helping build the transplant referral service, increase new patient appointments, and provide care to pre- and post-kidney transplant patients . Position will also attend at the inpatient Kidney Transplant Service and Outpatient Transplant Clinic and participate in the teaching and training of medical students, house staff, and fellows.

Requirements

• M.D. degree, or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school
• Satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
• Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology

Responsibilities

• Helping build the transplant referral service
• Increase new patient appointments
• Provide care to pre- and post-kidney transplant patients
• Attend at the inpatient Kidney Transplant Service and Outpatient Transplant Clinic
• Participate in the teaching and training of medical students, house staff, and fellows
