Skid steer, hook and unhook trailers ability preferred. The Transload Technician works in all phases of the Trans-Load: Dealing with incoming trucks off loading and outgoing trucks once loaded, paperwork and communication with others.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to speak, write and read in English.
Mathematics - Knowledge of basic math and their applications
Verbal communication skills
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Must be able to tolerate blood, animal dander, manure, dust, odors, and frequently noisy conditions.

Nice To Haves

Minimal Skid Steer experience a plus
Able to hook and unhook tractor trailer a plus.

Responsibilities

Generates schedule for departing loads to meet shipping schedule.
Studies incoming load patterns and volumes for estimating load counts.
Arranges and oversees loading and unloading of trailers and trucks.
Prepares all paperwork for incoming and outgoing loads.
Troubleshoots and expedites operations that delay schedule and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Responsible for complying with all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy Farms, Inc. subscribes.
Reports all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.
Reads and understands the company’s emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site.
Completes paperwork upon time of receipt.
Enters all information into computer programs.
Housekeeping: Keeps office break room and bathrooms clean, neat, and organized, keeps ramp and load area washed and free from debris.
