Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on, safety-minded individual to join our team as a Transload Loader. In this essential role, you will be responsible for transferring bulk products-both hazardous and non-hazardous-between railcars and tanker trucks. You'll operate transfer equipment, prepare materials for loading or unloading, and ensure full compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including EPA, FRA, and OSHA guidelines. This position is physically active and conducted outdoors in all weather conditions. You'll be climbing ladders up to 20 feet high, occasionally working in full hazmat suits, and engaging directly with mechanical equipment and sensitive product transfers. A strong attention to detail and commitment to safety are absolutely essential.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED
  • a valid driver's license
  • the physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, climb ladders, and work in demanding outdoor environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in industrial, rail, or transload operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transfer liquid or gas products between rail and truck.
  • Operate pumps, hoses, valves, and related equipment.
  • Prepare products for transfer (heat, sparge, or sample as needed).
  • Complete all logs, manifests, and compliance documentation accurately.
  • Conduct pre-transfer inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
