Incumbent must have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in English and Spanish. Provides ready-to-use translated content that meets internal and external needs and helps achieve successful communication needs for our business. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Translating Read through in one language, ascertain understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and convert it into a second language. Ensure translated texts convey original meaning and tone. Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation. Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy. Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure). Translate a variety of internal and external documents including corporate communications, course verifications, company changes, newsletters, legal notices, manuals, and policies. Communications Coordination Collaborate with internal departments on initiative needs, timeline, expectations, and deliverables. Attend document reviews with key stakeholders of operations policy and procedures. Writing Write, edit, and distribute a variety of internal and external communications, newsletters, web content, and materials consistent with corporate messaging and brand standards as well as professional standards of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
